Welcome to MOJO in Motion

About Us

MOJO (Miscarriage of Justice Operations) is a legal innocence project focused on investigating wrongful convictions, challenging systemic failures, and advancing post-conviction justice.

We conduct thorough case reviews, investigate evidence and misconduct, and identify failures that may have contributed to wrongful convictions and unjust sentences. Our work brings together legal research, evidentiary analysis, investigative review, and lived experience to pursue meaningful avenues for relief.

Our work extends beyond individual cases. We examine failures across policing, prosecution, defense, sentencing, incarceration, and the courts that allow injustice to occur and persist. We seek not only to correct individual miscarriages of justice, but to expose the systems and practices that make them possible.

WHAT WE DO

Wrongful Conviction Investigation
We review case records, evidence, witness accounts, forensic findings, and post-conviction materials to identify potential innocence

claims and grounds for relief.

Case Integrity Review
We investigate prosecutorial and law enforcement misconduct, suppressed evidence, unreliable testimony, flawed forensic evidence, ineffective assistance of counsel, and other failures that may compromise the integrity of a conviction.

Post-Conviction Advocacy
We support legal research, case development, and advocacy aimed at challenging wrongful convictions, extreme sentences,

and unjust outcomes.

Systemic Accountability
We identify patterns across the criminal legal system and examine how institutional failures contribute to wrongful convictions

and continued injustice.

OUR APPROACH

We follow the evidence, question the record, and look again.

A conviction is not the end of the inquiry when serious questions remain about the evidence, the investigation,

or the integrity of the process.

MOJO approaches each case with independence, careful review, and a commitment to uncovering the truth. We examine what happened, what was missed, and what the record may reveal when viewed again.

Justice requires accountability. Accountability requires

the willingness to look again.

Our Vision

A legal system grounded in fairness, integrity,

accountability, and human dignity.

We believe correcting injustice requires more than identifying what went wrong. It requires confronting the systems, structures, and conditions that allow injustice to happen and persist.
